HISTORY and RESULTS .. (click here for graduates in University) .)

Dr. Abraham Varghese was a medical doctor and was a drug abuser for 8 years. A radical encounter with the Love of God totally transformed his life. When God changed his life he was baptized in Ludhiana in 1988. He studied 4 years in A.G. Bible College in New Delhi. Dr Varghese founded Lucknow Teen Challenge on 8th July 1996.
Seeing mental illness, drugs, and addiction stealing the lives of men and devastating families, Teen Challenge began to provide residential care.
It is shocking yet true that the major cities of North India have 3.5 million substance abusers and LUCKNOW city has 22,000 registered drug addicts. Lucknow Teen Challenge has the vision to reach out to these lost ones with the love of Christ to bring health, healing & wholeness in body, soul & spirit. Our vision is to establish a 100 bed rehabilitation centre with 20 staff on out new 10 acre facility.
